September 26, 2009. First an apology to all those who faithfully came to this site to see all the dogs and their progress. Maintaining these pages was such an emotional roller coaster for me and my daughter that we just could not do it. Many who knew my mom did not know that she had cancer. She was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer January 2008 with a great prognosis. After agressive treatment and always a positive fighting attitude mom was pronounced "Cancer Free" July 2008. January 2009 the cancer was back. This time in her spine and lymph nodes. Prognosis was "grim" and she was labled "terminal". Mom lost her battle on February 26, 2009.
I have often been asked what I plan on doing with "all those dogs". First of all these were not just "dogs" to my mom. They were the passion in her life. When she was first diagnosed with cancer Snuggles was born. A single pup, a smooth coat black tri. Registered name is "5 C's Believe'n in Miracles". Snugs was the routine that mom needed to function every day. As you can see not just a dog. There fore they are not just "dogs" to me. They are a part of my mom that I will always cherish. Maybe I will continue where mom left off, breeding the perfect collie in both confirmation and personality. Maybe I'll show some. I'd love to show Shade in mom's name and honor. But for the time being all the dogs are living the life that all dogs dream at mom's house where her husband Bruce cares for them in the only home many of these dogs have ever known. As of right now only one dog is for sale, and we do not have any puppies. Please visit the "Classifieds" page (coming soon) for what we have available. |
